Santa Cruz Community Health Clinic

The Santa Cruz Community Health Clinic is the second of three projects to be completed on the same piece of property as part of a healthy living community. The goal of the community is to provide accessible and affordable housing and healthcare for low-income families. Also a part of this healthy living community are the Dientes Community Dental Clinic (directly across from SCCH Clinic) and a new 57-unit apartment complex still in progress.

SCCH’s completed health clinic is 20,000 square feet and focuses on creating a safe space for women and children’s health. Three distinct color palates separate each major section of the clinic by purple, blue, and yellow. A local artist was commissioned to fill the clinic with paintings that incorporate each of these color schemes.

The clinic will also be offering health classes to further the knowledge of the community. In addition, a portion of the clinic is currently leased by a law firm that provides access to much needed legal services for lower income families.
