Dientes Community Dental Clinic

WRD Architects partnered once again with Dientes Community Dental to design and build a new dental clinic in Santa Cruz from the ground up. This 5,500-square-foot, single-story building features 11 exam rooms, several accessory spaces, and a spacious, naturally lit lobby. The walls are adorned with murals by local artist Tessa Hope Hasty, depicting the rich landscape of Santa Cruz. Complementing the murals, bold accent wall colors unify the individual spaces, creating a children’s dental office that is both fun and uplifting.

The Dientes Community Dental Care clinic is the first of three projects on the same property as part of a healthy living community. This community aims to provide accessible and affordable housing and healthcare for low-income families. Also included in the development are the Santa Cruz Community Health Clinic—located directly across from Dientes—and a new 57-unit apartment complex currently under construction.
